Dear Robert & Maria, Thank you Rob for helping me save my credit!!!  I appreciate your humility and understanding to the delicacy of my situation.  Even though my Ex. delayed signing very important and time sensitive documents, you kept your cool and stayed focused on helping me accomplish my goal.  I appreciate you for taking the time to explain the process to me and managing my expectations.   I also appreciate the fact that you were reachable, by phone, whenever I had a question or concern.  I knew that you were genuine when you asked me if I had a place stay, and directed me to find packing boxes. Kansas City, MO     We met Robert & Maria Frank about a year ago. It was about the time that we had had enough of paying high rent for small places. We were more than ready to buy a house. We have been trying for over a decade to get a mortgage. We've been turned down many times, usually with the statement "Maybe you’re just not ready to buy a house right now, wait 2 years or so." Ha! What was 2 years going to change? We already always paid our rent every month on time, but that meant nothing to them. When we met the Franks they treated us like human beings instead of just a number. They were fair and understanding. They could tell that we were serious about having a real home for our family. They gave us a step up that the lenders could see. (Apparently making a house payment instead of just rent means something to lenders.) Paying a house payment or paying rent is the same to me, only now I am putting my money towards something. Now we can call ourselves homeowners. We have more respect from the financial world. I love the choices we have made here. I also love my new (New to me) house. We have already started remodeling to make it MORE our own. Paint, flooring, we don't have to ask permission, and it will benefit US in the long run, not just in better living conditions. Our children have a home to grow up in, friends and a school. They know we won't have to leave just because the owners of the house decided to do something else with the property. We are the owners. It's our house now. Thanks to Robert and Maria Frank we have proved to the lenders that we are ready, and that this is important to us, that we ARE ready to buy a house. In a year or two we will refinance to lower our interest rate, proving again that we have made payments (on time every month) toward our future. I still don't understand all of the credit game but making house payments is one of the most important things you can do to make your credit better. Thank you and happy homeownership, T. and V. Y.
